Choosing a new school
A NEW ENVIRONMENT IN WHICH TO LIVE IS BOTH EXCITING AND DAUNTING
Our staff is dedicated to helping families and students throughout the admission process.
We are always ready to share our expectations and to hear what a future student will be able to bring to enrich the learning community.
Our most important requirement is that a student coming to our school becomes familiar with, and is open to, the school Vision, Mission Statement and Educational Beliefs.
Students should be interested in getting to know Italy, and should be able and willing to fully participate in all aspects of the programme: academic, co-curricular and service.
IN ACCEPTING STUDENTS WE LOOK FOR
— The applicant’s potential to benefit from the educational environment and programme;
— The capability of the school to meet the educational needs of the applicant¹;
— Sufficient ability in English to succeed in a college preparatory programme with English as the language of instruction (some EAL support can be provided in grade 9);
— The personality and motivation to do one’s best, be actively engaged and to share one’s experience and talents with others;
— Willingness to abide by essential agreements, confirmed by teachers and students each year, as well as by the Italian law;
— Fulfilment of the school financial and medical requirements. We admit qualified students of any gender, identity, race, national and ethnic origin and do not discriminate in any aspect of our educational policies, scholarship or financial planning, or in any other schooladministered programme.
